Water Jetting Association Training

WJA (Water Jetting Association) training teaches you how to safely and effectively use high-pressure water jetting equipment. It covers practical skills for various tasks like cleaning and surface prep, with a focus on safety.

The entry-level Water Jetting Safety Awareness course takes one day, and is assessed by way of a 20-question multiple choice questionnaire. Hands-on training courses such as Drain and Sewer cleaning take half a day.

Operatives need to retake the Water Jetting Safety Awareness course every three years to maintain registration with the WJA.

For candidates, passing WJA training means you're registered with the WJA international database, issued with a certificate and WJA photo-ID card which details the course you've passed. It's recognised by employers and actually required by many contractors.

For employers, WJA supports safe and productive water jetting, supports workforce development and retention, and makes sure your customers know you're committed to safety and quality work.

This training can be useful for all operatives of water jetting equipment - from new/inexperienced workers up to seasoned, experienced pros who need to brush up on their skills. Training is also beneficial to managers and supervisors, plus client-side contract or operational managers who hire and manage water jetting specialists.
