PASMA Training

PASMA training gives you the knowledge and skills you need to use scaffold towers safely at work or at home. Each course covers a different type of tower and you only need to do the courses that cover the tower you want to use. 

PASMA training is important for anyone who uses access towers or podiums, as well as their managers.

A PASMA certificate is valid for five years and demonstrates that the holder is competent in working safely with mobile towers and platform equipment. The certificate then has to be renewed to keep knowledge and skills fresh.

Employers often request PASMA certification as part of health and safety compliance. Under the Work at Height Regulations 2005, employers have to make sure workers are properly trained for working at height - PASMA certification is a great way to demonstrate this.

PASMA training mainly covers the safe setup, use, inspection, and dismantling of mobile access towers. It also includes information on the latest safety regulations, risk assessments, and best practices for working at height. Courses are tailored based on the type of access equipment and job roles of trainees.

PASMA is all about the safe use of mobile access towers and scaffolds, while IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) is designed for the safe operation of powered access equipment like scissor lifts and cherry pickers.
