Need Help Choosing the Right Portable Heater?
Have a look at our heating calculator and find out what size heater you need to warm your workspace.
-
We recommend 1kW of power per 25 cubic metres of space. To calculate what size heater you need to keep your environment warm, you need to look at the dimensions of your room (length, width and height) to give you your total room size. You then need to consider how well-insulated your room is and the temperature you’d like your room to be at.
Use our simple online calculator or get in touch, and one of our team will do the calculations for you.
-
This will depend on the solution you install. Our heating equipment typically runs on fuel sources such as electricity, HVO, LPG or Butane. Our team of experts will be able to provide you with guidance on the most suitable solution for your space.
-
We pride ourselves on supplying the most modern equipment that is cost-efficient to run. As a rough example, a 3kW fan heater will use 3kW (3,000 watts) per hour and cost around £0.43p to run (depending on the cost per unit of electricity) or £3.44 for 8 hours. The power rating (watts/kWs) will dictate the running costs. The higher the watts, the more it will cost to run.
It also depends on the fuel type and duration of usage. For example, our oil-fired heaters can be controlled by a thermostat to regulate the heat and fuel usage when the building climate is right; reducing the temperature on the stat will consequently lower fuel use.
If you’re concerned about the costs to run temporary heating equipment, contact the team and they can advise on the most effective solution for your space.
